Prohibited Advertisers Under Option One

EmailNotices will develop a prohibited advertiser ad policy before the municipality/school enters the program. EmailNotices ad policy will be as stringent or more so for your municipality/school than what the municipality/school would have If the municipality/school was running the business directory itself.
 


Municipalities/schools have found that this is the absolutely the legal position that your municipality/school should have; rather than saying the municipality/school will be involved with or have final review of ads because that in and of itself would indicate that the municipality/school has a say so regarding the ads.

 
 
 
 


EmailNotices completely disassociates your municipality/school from being involved in the advertising; similar to a local town newspaper.

 

Under service procurement option I, here is our standard ad policy that the municipality/school can request us to add "prohibits" to before it enters the program.

EmailNotices will NOT accept any ads from businesses, persons or any entity engaged in the selling and/or promoting of:

A) Any product or service that requires a minimum age to purchase.
B) Any product or service that is sexual in nature.
C) Any product or service that promotes race, religion or politics.
D) Any categories that are not on this list that EmailNotices believes that
would offend or be a detriment to its relationship with Municipal Government or School Boards. EmailNotices has the right to hold any ad until the end of municipal/school contract.
