Automated Online Subscriptions
Adult residents automatically register online so there is no manual data entry.
No sensitive data is required! Even the email address can be a free disposable email address used just for these updates. Email addresses are never sold. You own the email addresses.
Your subscribers do not even have to know that you are using an email service as the "from line" will say it is from you and they can register right on your website with links we provide. If you do not have a website you will receive a code that can be entered on the EmailNotices website. The email addresses of all recipients are not disclosed within the email header. There is no way that anyone can hit reply and send their own message back to all those who were emailed by the municipality/school.
Create As Many Sub Interest Group Segments As You Desire!
No one wants to read information that does not pertain to them! Your subscriber list can be segmented for exclusive contact by as many sub segments as you like and your subscribers can change their profiles to opt in and out of the sub segments without opting out of the over-all service. You choose what questions appear to your potential subscribers and you can have the questions can be labeled as (optional) or (required).
Municipalities may segment by unlimited interest groups (ex. Library, Civic Center, Historical Society, Garden Club, Business Commuter list, Crime Notices, Business & Fraternal Organizations, grade and gender allocation for recreation notices, etc.)
Many municipalities also segment by geographic locations (ex. North Ward, South Side, Hilltop Section, Roseville Section, etc.)
Schools typically segment not only by grade and gender but interest groups such as (PTA notifications, class parents, snow closing notifications, each teacher's class, school band, chorus, yearbook staff, newspaper staff, bus routes etc.) Regional schools also segment by towns.
Most email vendors allow only one sub segment of the master list. EmailNotices allows the simultaneous filtering of multiple interest group segments. For example you can email the parents, of boys, who are in the 5th and 6th grade and who live in a certain geographic area.
If you wish to add an interest group/sub segment down the road you just email everyone and tell them the name of your new interest group and if they are interested in receiving information regarding the new interest group to simply check off the new interest group in their interest group profile! Every email contains a link under your email template for your subscribers to update their interest group profile or opt out totally.

There is no equipment to install or integrate into your existing computer network. It is as simple as writing an email and sending it You do not need any assistance from your technology people because EmailNotices is simply a web site accessible service that we maintain at our cost.
All municipal departments can use the free service. For schools the PTA, every teacher, principal and superintendent loves the service!
Once you create the email notice you simply select the email template that you want to have your notice delivered within. An email template can also be designed for your municipality/school that can have your logo/mascot and/or images of certain buildings and landscapes etc. When you select the email template the content of your message automatically flows into the email template selected for the EmailNotices server to deliver.
You then simply select part or your entire email address subscriber list to send the email notice to.
There are Multiple Service Procurement Options
Your information is emailed within an email template that is customized depending upon whether you want the service absolutely free and receive donations from EmailNotices or to pay a nominal amount.
Service Procurement Option One --- Free & Receive Donations:
The sample email template below has a "disclaimed" link in it to a separate website business directory that will be under EmailNotices Domain Name---Not the Municipalities or the Schools Name! We disassociate your municipality from the business website directory.
Under this option only we deal with the "approved businesses" and provide them with text ads that are 85% less than other ad alternatives in the market. EmailNotices then donates 20% of the ad fees it collects from businesses to your municipality/school, which are discretionary funds.
The 20% of the entire gross represents a substantial percentage of EmailNotices net income. If we sell about 500 business at $399 a year EmailNotices donates about $40,000 residually while you use the $200,000 feature rich email service absolutely free.
If EmailNotices sold no business ads at all, the municipality and the schools will never pay a cent while using our free feature rich email service!

Sole Sponsorship- You Still Get Unlimited Free Service- Option Two:
Instead of linking to a business directory under option one, you can have a sole sponsor pay EmailNotices. We will obtain the sponsor and you will have final approval. We typically use local well known corporate sponsors. The sponsor would only have a disclaimed text link in the email template and will not have access to the email addresses. Contact us for details.
Service Procurement Option Three:
Your municipality or schools also have the option of not having a link in the email template to either a separate business web site directory or a sole sponsor but simply paying EmailNotices. For municipalities the fee is only $2,999 per year paid upfront or ($299 per month) for unlimited use of the feature rich email service. Municipality subscriber lists over a 500,000 pay an additional $2,000 per year, per each 500,000 subscribers.
Schools: Under this third option, schools with under 2,000 students pay just $999 per year.
Here is a suggestion: You can start out with the monthly fee option and after a few months when you are totally comfortable with the service switch to one of the two free options and we will refund what you have paid.

According to Gov Delivery, Somerset County after 3 years is under 7,000 addresses as of 1/20/06. Passaic County NJ also uses this competitor's email service. We got there too late! They are under contract!

Email Price: $250 Set-up and 10 cents per email address every time it goes out. Sample per every 1,000 emails sent 4 times per month is $4,800 a year. 10,000 subscribers would be $48,000 a year and you have to send them the email and they send it; no remote login to send the email yourself.
